High Quality Gear -  Divemaster & Instructor tested and approved

Buy replacement scuba regulator hoses in Canada — low pressure second stage hoses, high pressure gauge hoses, BCD power inflator hoses, drysuit inflator hoses, and specialty lengths for technical and sidemount configurations. Hoses connect your first stage to your second stages, gauges, BCD, and drysuit — and are one of the most commonly replaced regulator components after years of use. Inspect hoses for cracks, pinhole leaks, and soft spots before every dive season.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I need to replace a regulator hose?

Inspect hoses visually before every dive season and physically before every trip. Run your fingers along the full length of each hose feeling for soft spots, swelling, cracks in the outer jacket, or pinhole bubbles. Pay particular attention to the area within a few centimetres of each hose end — this is the highest stress point and where failures most commonly begin. A hose that shows any external cracking, swelling, or visible deformation should be replaced before diving. If you see a pinhole bubble in the water during a dive, that hose needs immediate replacement after the dive. Never dive with a visibly compromised hose — a blowout at depth is a serious emergency.

What lengths of regulator hoses do I need for a standard recreational setup?

For a standard recreational configuration: primary second stage hose — 27 to 30 inches; backup second stage (octopus) hose — 36 inches, yellow; BCD power inflator hose — 26 inches standard; high pressure gauge hose — 36 inches standard. A short 6-inch high pressure hose is used for pony bottle setups where the gauge mounts directly to the cylinder valve. Technical and sidemount divers typically use a 7-foot (84-inch) primary hose routed under the arm and around the body, with the backup second stage mounted on a short regulator necklace. Contact us if you need a specific length not listed.

Are regulator hoses universal or brand-specific?

The thread fittings on regulator hoses are largely standardized across brands — most low pressure hoses use 3/8-24 UNF threads and most high pressure hoses use 7/16-20 UNF threads, making them compatible across Scubapro, Cressi, Aqualung, Mares, and other major brands. However, some manufacturers use proprietary thread patterns on specific models — Scubapro in particular has some unique fittings on certain first stage ports. If you are replacing a hose on an older or less common first stage, confirm the thread specification before ordering. Thread adapters are available if you need to connect hoses with different thread sizes.

What is a 110-degree or 90-degree hose adapter and when would I use one?

A hose angle adapter installs between your low pressure hose and your second stage, changing the angle at which the hose exits the regulator. A standard second stage routes the hose over the right shoulder — comfortable for most divers. A 110-degree adapter routes the hose under the right arm instead, reducing hose drag and the "tugging" sensation from hose stiffness, particularly on longer or stiffer hoses. This adapter is popular on backup regulators to improve hose routing and prevent the octopus hose from crossing the chest. The 90-degree adapter provides a sharper angle change for more compact routing in technical configurations.
